Death is Forever - If you die, rez at the nearest wayshrine, travel back to a city, sell everything you don't want, deposit the rest in your bank along with any gold, log out, delete the IronVestige, and re-roll if desired. Your only legal use for Soul Gems is to rez non-IronVestige characters you come across in your adventures (we are the Moot, after all).
White gear from drops, theft, and crafting only (so far I haven't found any vendors that sell white gear)
No traits (except Ornate and Intricate)
No crafting table sets
No enchantments or poisons
No potions, drinks, or food
No Mundus Stone buffs (be mindful, this is the one thing in this list that cannot be undone!)
No Champion Points spent
You can spend attribute points
You can spend skill points, but:
You can only spend one skill point on morphs per every ten levels you achieve - So you can't morph your first ability until level 10, then you can't morph your second ability until level 20, third at 30, etc.
No points spent on passive skills - the only exception is the crafting skill lines
No Lycanthropy or Vampirism - all other skill lines are allowable. If you get infected, cure it immediately.
You can only group up with other IronVestiges
Finally, we have the Kahina Exception: If your Iron Vestige dies unavoidably and due to no fault of your own - such as via a sudden lag spike or disconnection from the game servers/internet - the death doesnotcount. Once you get back into the game, you may rez and continue play. Remember though: this challenge is bound by the honor system. Arkay will know if you cheat him.
There are a couple buffs that we will let slide just because they can't really be avoided:
The Rings of Mara buffs - I'm not willing to get in the way of love. Not ever.
ESO Plus Membership buff - I'm a Plus member, and I'm not going to cancel my subscription for this.
If there are any other buffs anyone can think of - lemme know and we'll decide how to handle 'em!
Some things to consider:
Avoid testing gravity - dying from falling damage as an IronVestige will make you feel really dumb.
Turn off NPC damage - This can be done in Settings > Gameplay > Prevent Attacking Innocents. 'Cause guards.
Unlike other Iron Challenges you may have seen - this will be done Mootly: run for fun and use the honor system, this is not an elitist contest. As previously mentioned I like doing crazy things in these games with other crazy people that I love playing with (that'd be all of you Mooties).
I've tested the above rules out and thing they are fairly solid - definitely challenging, but workable.
